On January 14, 2025, the Institute of Food Research and Product Development (IFRPD), Kasetsart University, officially launched the Professional Thai Chef Training Program – Batch 1.
The opening ceremony was honored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tanin Kongsila, Vice President for Human Resources and Strategy, Kasetsart University, and Acting Director of IFRPD, who delivered the welcome address and officially opened the training program.
The first day of the course included an orientation session and a theoretical assessment before participants begin hands-on practice. The session was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Naruemon Nantharak, and held at the Demonstration Kitchen, 7th Floor, Amornbhumirat Building, Kasetsart University, Bangkhen Campus.
The Professional Thai Chef Training Program – Batch 1 runs from January 14 to February 6, 2025, and focuses on the fundamentals of Thai cuisine, exploring the essence of Thainess reflected in different types of Thai food, as well as basic culinary techniques, aiming to build a strong foundation for becoming a professional Thai chef.
